Well Erica, As I was reading your thoughts of getting another tattoo (which a few nicely placed tat’s are ok) the first thing that I thought of was a cherry, or two! *smile* Then as I kept reading, and low and behold….. That is exactly what you were thinking… So lets put the tat decision to rest and get yourself a few extra hours sleep at night, go with the cherry!! *smile*

Hello–

I realize there’s probably no chance you’ll actually respond to this, but it’s worth a shot. I’m a grad student at Kent State University and I’m writing an article about the effects of gambling, keeping in mind the attempts to permit 4 casinos in Ohio. I would love the input of a professional “gambler”–I realize you probably don’t refer to yourself in such a way, but I am seeking a balanced view on the effects of casinos–especially one from Ohio. If you are willing and able, please respond as soon as you can to the following questions:

-How did you get your start in poker/blackjack? Were facilities readily available to you?

-Do you consider yourself a gambler? Why/why not?

-Do you think your success can be attributed solely to your skill or do you owe a debt to lady luck?

Any further information or opinions you’d like to offer about your career, gambling, or Issue 3, feel free to include!

Erica,

This was a very good interview. I learned a great deal from it. I am usually a very friendly player at the table and I do get noticed by a lot of players weeks after the tournament is over. Never thought about keeping low, but will give it a shot the next time I play live. Thanks for the advice.
